Dubai: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, MoFAIC, has proactively invested in cutting-edge technologies and established an advanced digital infrastructure to provide its customers with a range of electronic and intelligent services.

With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, MoFAIC has embraced digital technologies to ensure business continuity, meet the daily needs of the public, ensure public safety, and contribute to the diligent management of the COVID-crisis. 19 by addressing implications while ensuring business continuity efficiently.
Since the start of the pandemic around the world, the UAE Ministry and Embassies and Missions abroad have received and processed all requests for services from UAE citizens for certification of attestation services through online and smart channels.
Faisal Issa Lotfi, Counselor of the Consular Services Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, said: “There has been a marked increase in the number of transactions through the website and the smart app following the activation. a process to perform e-services and the addition of a delivery service that secures the receipt and delivery of documents to the customer in cooperation with Emirates Post ”.
He stressed that “since the onset of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the ministry has quickly taken all necessary measures to maintain the safety of customers and reduce its risk of spread, while ensuring business continuity under all circumstances and providing services via intelligent channels to facilitate procedures. . “
The ministry has also confirmed the provision of all its services electronically, in particular smart attestations, which can be requested through the ministry’s website www.mofaic.gov.ae and the UAEMOFAIC smartphone app.
The ministry recently launched its smart attestation service that allows customers to quickly and easily authenticate various types of official documents, certificates and invoices, a service that guarantees the authenticity of a seal and signature on documents and papers issued in the United Arab Emirates or abroad.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also set up a mechanism to conduct online transactions through its website and smartphone app in cooperation with Emirates Post, through which documents can be received and delivered to customers at their location, without having to to go to customer happiness centers.
