NEW DELHI: More than 30,000 sellers across India have signed up for the supplier integration mobile app launched by CAIT on Thursday for its upcoming e-commerce portal “Bharat eMarket,” the organization said on Friday. tradespeople.
“Within 24 hours of the launch, more than 30,000 sellers across the country have registered on the platform whose e-dukaan will be created from March 15,” said the Confederation of All Indian Traders (CAIT ).
CAIT Chairman BC Bhartia said such an enthusiastic response to Bharat eMarket proves that foreign e-commerce giants operating in India are not giving Indian sellers a fair opportunity to prosper.
The merchant body said it has appointed 40 trade leaders as brand ambassadors for the Bharat eMarket portal.
The merchant organization CAIT on Thursday launched a supplier integration mobile application for its upcoming e-commerce portal “Bharat eMarket”.
The app will allow businesses and service providers to register on the portal and create their own “e-dukaan”.
CAIT said its “purely Indian” Bharat eMarket portal will comply with all of the country’s rules and regulations.
The body of traders has engaged in a tirade against foreign e-commerce companies, accusing them of violating the standards of the country’s FDI policy, a charge denied by the companies.
